The Locanda Fuffuraju, located in La Caletta in the province of Nuoro, opened on June 27th 2006, the same date of Stefano’s birthday (the Owner and creator of the Locanda).
Stefano’s passion for the architecture and love for his native country, drives him to realize a dream always cherished: to create a Locanda that could have all the peculiarities of an old Sardinian house, where he can offer the best delicacies of the traditional Mediterranean and regional cuisine.
Stefano (who planned and carried out the Locanda) has chosen a professional restaurant team to offer you an elegant service but at the same time a warm welcome.
Fuffuraju (in Italian “passerotto”) is in the ground floor and has two dining rooms: the inner room is warm and cosy thanks to the wood and stones on its walls, the other room follows the style of the old fishermen’s houses of our coast. The Locanda has 100 seats with a pergola all around, Fuffuraju offers, at lunch and dinner, the best daily fresh fish of the north-eastern Sardinian coast, the tasty meat of the traditional cuisine, all in an original and characteristic atmosphere; accompanied by the good wine of its cellar, with a background of jazz, pop, lounge and traditional Sardinian music, Fuffuraju can satisfy the most delicate palate with liking and a bit of vivacity.
